This is a portrait of one of the best local artists and instructors here in Alaska in my opinion! Diann Haist was my instructor for over 2 years. One of our homework assignments was to do 100 5x7s in 100 days. We were not to spend more than 35 minutes on each one. This was one of my 35 minute paintings and I'm so glad I didn't have more time to ruin it!
