Nevertheless

Despite a lifetime of judgement from religious people who did not approve of nude paintings, family who doubted, people who judged, those who wished it not to happen, those who thought I should be serving spouse & children rather than working - and the general fire and chaos of the world, I nevertheless still paint with a smile on my face and perhaps a subtle flipping of the bird in my finger tips.
