Self-portrait of the artist. She has always loved old hats and felt this one reminded her of a crown, thus the title 'Studio Queen'. At the time of this painting the artist was focusing on watercolors. Although it was done decades ago the artist has always felt it expressed how she was feeling about herself and her art.
