Laughing Self

This self portrait was painted in my studio from looking at my image in the mirror. The background
started with a lot of color, texture and shapes before I began the portrait. As the head and body developed
I also worked with the background, adding color and developing the design and flow around myself.
I did a lot of laughing in order to maintain the expression I was after.
