This oil painting on panel was a self portrait inspired by my love of antique hats. A recent solo show of my work titled, "Romancing the Hat" showcased 30 oil painting of hats in various ways of depiction.
My self portrait was the piece used for the invitations and promotions. The opening reception invited all guests to wear their favorite vintage hat resulting in a truly fun, festive, dress up night enjoyed by all.
