Resilient Spirits is all about the connection to nature as a human being. The painting portrays a woman with hair resembling roots as well as dreads intertwined with the Opuntia Cactus and Flowers as well as birds, a snake and other animals native to southern California and desert. These spirits are resilient in their survival in harsh conditions and share a one-of- a kind beauty.
