Lait Du Papillon

"Lait du Papillon" portrays my love to the natural world and wildlife. I find inspiration in metamorphosis and the many stages a a caterpillar lives through with the slightest chance of survival until it emerges to a beautiful butterfly. Seen as fragile and delicate creatures, they endure the harshest conditions and fly thousands of miles during migration periods. I raise Monarch butterflies every year and ever since I began have learned so many fascinating things about them and their only host plant, the milkweed. Milkweed is the "lait du papillon" (french for milk of a butterfly.
