Portrait au dessin

I painted this self-portrait at a time where I was in a difficult situation, leading me to feel resentment. I wanted to represent this feeling of withdrawal and anger. It was also necessary to represent the need for interaction, and the silliness of such a withdrawal toward others. That's why I chose to paint a drawing of my cat, looking down directly at me, while I am backed up against a wall.
