This oil painting was created for Poets and Artists: Exhibition The Creator and The Muse, and is of Manu Saluja, a wonderful artist and a dear friend. I have a profound respect for Manu, and I welcomed the challenge of capturing both her resilience and beauty. I enjoyed depicting her deep thought and mind at work merged with the intricate patterns and luminosity of her traditional Sikh attire.
