Self Portrait

I wanted to create a visual autobiographical statement and painted this self portrait from life. I pictured myself in front of a simple backdrop and from the torso up. I showed my pale skin against the darker back drop and shirt. I chose to depict myself naturally and honestly in the realistic tradition.
