Self Portrait, Dog Days

This is a studio self portrait I did one very hot summer here in Kansas City. The "Dog Days" are traditionally the hottest days of the year and run roughly from late July through late August. In the background is a television which is depicting the weather forecast for much of the same heat to continue.
