Afternoon Nap on Fishing Day

My wife and I brought our 5 children to a nearby river to go fishing after a long day of chores. I found the shade and sounds of the river too soothing to stay awake, and settled down to take a nap near one of our young daughters. My wife snapped a number of photos and informed me once I awoke that I "have to paint this". I painted it in the studio with a self-imposed time limit of 1 hour, my typical time frame when I paint en plein air, my intention being to capture the feeling in a very plein air way.
