"Me" as an artist? Having just graduated from art school at age 51 and a divorce leaving my past behind, I painted this self portrait pondering my future. The horizon is a hazy unknown, the moon is hope, the ship is moving on, and the water and sea have always been my passion. Now at 80 I am a professional coastal atmospheric "painter" living by the sea. My previous lives were as a flower designer for 30 years and my BFA degree was in Interior Design. The painting won out!
