Unequally Yoked

This self-portrait was my attempt at trying to describe what it feels like to be in a marriage in which one of the partners is shouldering the burden of the emotional and physical work of a marriage. The religious and biblical symbols of the fig leaf, the ring, and the yoke are included, as is the inference to Christ's invitation to yoke oneself to him.
