This is the first in a series (the other 3 entries for this contest are the others in this series to date) of self-portraits where I am sharing my mental understanding and somatic experiences as a self-discovery process and returning back to my first painting subject love: the human figure. I began this series, with this painting, when we first shut-down for COVID19. One of the blessings of that experience was the blossoming of my painting!!
